This is the perfect brush to apply blushes that may be too pigmented for you. The flat side can also be used for more precise placement. This and the CH-2 are two perfectly working parts of a married couple: CH1 to apply pigment and CH2 to buff the edges.

I love everything about this brush. If you were to buy only one brush from this website, this would be it. I can use this for just about everything but eyeshadow. I especially like it for applying blush, buffing out powder blush from the CH1, powder highlight, I can even use this for to buff liquid foundation if applying with a certain technique. I think a slightly shorter version would be perfect for foundation eg 28-30 mm. The handle is beautiful and the white fox/ black fox combo is truly stunning.

This brush is great for applying liquid foundation! I had not planned to get this one but I am happy I have it. Though all sides of the brush are equally soft, I recommend using the side opposite to the logo and downward painting motions to apply foundation. My face is not quite large enough to use this as an under eye concealer brush. This brush is also good for targeted powder application.

This brush is a true work of art. It looks like something out of Blade Runner 2049. I really like the handle and the wooden ferrule. Metal ferrules can be crimped on which means they do not have to be carved or machined with the same precision as wooden ferrules do. I also find metal ferrules to be distracting when applying make up as they catch the eye. When I unboxed this brush, it was the softest brush I had ever felt. It is slightly less soft post-wash and a little too much for my over-exfoliated winter skin, but I do anticipate being able to use it more in the summer. I think this would benefit from more photos and the short videos bobo has on other sections of the website, showing the shape of this brush and its splay. This is 100% Saikoho with no Sohoko shoring up the base: therefore it has fairly low resilience without being floppy. Shape wise this is a larger version of that 3-D shape with a squared-off top instead of a pointed top. Depending on your face size this can be used to apply any face powder product: blush bronzer, highlighter. The Saikoho bristles kick up a little too much powder with the pressed powders I tend to use, but I think this would pick up the perfect amount of product with a baked gelée formula or baked powders in general.

Great lay down/blending brush. I thought this was pricey when I got it but when I received it, I realized this is because the tip is almost 100% squirrel. A mix of dyed and undyed Saikoho shores up the base and enables the brush to feel more resilient. I got this as a dupe for the discontinued rephr 16 and it is functioning well. I don’t like metal ferrules but that is a personal issue rather than an issue with a brush itself. This brush has great pickup and laydown for matte eyeshadows. Would recommend.

Clearly a fan favourite. I feel lucky to have picked it up during the restock. KOYUDO’s persimmon dyed goat is A+ it really does make it resilient if you desire to use with creams and liquids. The small version was one of my most used brushes last year I knew this would be a winner too.

Loveeee it bloomed so nicely and the hair has good powder grabbing ability. I will also use with foundation too as I like a sheer application. only Takeaway I wish Hakuhodo would make the SHSL Champagne handle available for this one.

I have yet to try out the eye brushes from this set but the powder brush works beautifully with my baked and matte bronzer and has lovely movement. Wonderful for setting the face too. Initially the displays photos had me thinking they were a bright red but they are a true burgundy cherry colour and I am obsessed with the design!

I’m a fan of squirrel/goat mix it holds more powder then squirrel alone. This brush has lovely movement and a gorgeous handle design we love a bit of shimmer & sparkle 💕 very impressed at a great price too! The customer service team is top notch. Thankyou for the gift with order xx

This is by far one of the most versatile & innovative brush designs I own. The color of the brush head & design of the handle makes this a collectors’ item. The brush itself makes both cream & powder products a breeze to apply. No streaks or unwanted marks are left on my face. Truly a well made brush.

I did a big BOBO haul and this brush intrigued me, I honestly think it may be my favourite purchase. The hair is softer than expected and it has lovely flexibility. Very happy to have picked it up. This one is special. Thanks Bobo and Eihodo!!
