This brush is gorgeous from the mix of hair to the handle to the shape. I use it for highlight and powder its blooms so nicely.

Ren 3 Highlight brush

This is my favorite highlight brush. I wasn’t initially attracted to this series because handles are plain looking. I fell in love with this hair mix. I ordered 3 other brushes from this set. Highly recommend!

Outstanding hair blend!

This set is really beautiful.. I purchased #2-5, and am quite pleased with all of them, though some definitely more than others. The red fox/gr. squirrel blend is my favorite blend besides WCS/saikoho. It’s such an incredibly versatile blend, it makes blending a dream, picks up product easily and efficiently, yet it is still sooo soft, which is great for my very sensitive, dry skin. I was thrilled when I saw that they had created this set with this particular blend. I hope in the future they create many more styles of brushes in the future with this or very similar hair blends. My favorite brush out of the 4 that I purchased is by far #3, the cheek/highlighter brush. I have used it already for a number of different applications, setting under eye powder, blush, highlighter.. it’s the perfect shape, size and thickness and is already proving to be a great little workhorse! I’m highly considering a backup.. it’s that good. I also really like #2 for loose powder application.. I was torn as to whether I should get #1 as well but 2 is a great length, not too floppy at all, and I feel is likely more versatile than #1. But it’s all preference I suppose;) I also like the eyeshadow brushes but I’m not in love with them. The brushes I was most looking forward to were #3 and #5.. but #5 I feel is a bit too narrow and straight, whereas I would have preferred it to be a bit thicker and more tapered, like a flame. I thought it would bloom and fill out more than it did but mine has kept it’s original shape after washing. #4 is nice for one swipe eye looks, but I know I’ll use it more for highlighting or precise setting rather than on the eye. It’s just a bit too big for my eyes. Still a very lovely brush though and if you are a fan of that size/shape, you’ll absolutely love it:) As for the handles, they aren’t my favorite tbh, I mean, they’re fine.. I’d just prefer a straight or tapered handle rather than the hourglass handle. But all in all, it’s a very beautiful set and I am really happy I got it and it was worth the wait!
