Many people ask about the difference,

and the truth is more subtle than just softness or firmness.

The hair itself:

• Red Fox has a soft touch with a slight natural spring (a gentle resilience).
• Blue Fox is silkier and more cloud-soft, with less inherent bounce.

However — what we feel in use is not only from the fiber.

The feeling of control mainly comes from:

1. Brush density
2. Tapering of the tip
3. How tightly the bundle is set at the ferrule
4. Overall silhouette / shape

So when Blue Fox is crafted with:

• a tighter base
• a more focused taper
• and a more compact silhouette→ it can feel more precise and directional than Red Fox,even though the hair itself is softer.
