For those familiar with Chikuhodo, this is basically the Kazan squirrel version of the Z-5. That is to say, a very soft and quite big eyeshadow brush that can work for both applying shadow all over the lid and blending the edges. When you first get it's firm and has a defined tip, which is great for also applying shadow on the lower lash line, but once you wash it it fluffs up and loses that definition on the tip, but it still works as long as you like a smoky lower lash. Of course, being a large brush is better suited for larger eyes, but I don't have massive eyes and I can still use it without any issues. Also bear in mind that, having squirrel hair, you are not going to get the same payoff as goat brushes, but as long as you use a primer or if you like a sheerer look, you will enjoy this brush immensely.

The brush is very well made,soft to touch ,good size and extremely handy for applying and mixing compact eyeshadows by picking colorsperfectly.Will definitely buy a pencil brush too. Strongly recommended to buy it

Awesome brush, very soft. Its an airy feeling brush but it packs a punch. Picks up powder nicely and delivers a beautifull and quick blend. Use it for bronzer and blush. Love it so much that I bought a back up.

Soft, durable, angeled brush specically designed for highlight and it does work very well precisely to small areas and picking small amount of color from powdered highlight very well and not comparable to synthetic brushes. I also used for powdered blush and it's good as well but I will buy more rounded and more dence brush as you cannot use one brush for everything and i like different brushes for different purposes.

I already had the BC-01 and that's heavenly. I wasnt expecting much from B-C-01 since it's goat hair. But, boy I was wrong. It's so soft and perfect for bronzer. It's too big for blush for me. I like smaller brushes for targeted applcation. And the service from BoBo Do is always top notch.

While the brush is meant to be for highlight, I love it for blush. After first wash, the blush bloomed up a little, but not too much. it's now more rounded and great to swirl blush on my cheeks. I use it for powder blush mostly but I have tried for mousse texture and it works great. the hair is so soft. I've never owned this blend of bristles before so excited to have this in my collection.

This brush is the most exquisite and unique brush I have. It is just as described, a perfect balance between softness and structure. I have many soft brushes that I love but their downside, if you can call it that, is the lack of precision. This brush is softer than all of them but I feel more in control when applying color. If you have the opportunity to get one do not hesitate, it is worth its weight in gold.

I really like this brush. You can sweep it across your eye and apply a one and done, the edges can be used on the lower lash line. It’s a one stop eye brush for me. It the first eye brush I reach for when applying eye makeup.
