CHIKUHODO FO-2 Foundation brush,Flat top,FO series,Silver Fox

When I got this, it was incredibly stiff and prickly. I initially thought that this was an issue with some conditioner they had put in the brush so I washed it. However, this did not improve post wash, and this is the only product I found to be truly unusable from the fudebobo website. I wondered if it was defective (eg perhaps they put the fibers in the wrong way, or cut them … however it looks identical to the photo), as I have never had another brush be so prickly & I do not believe Fude Bobo would sell a prickly brush. I’m sharing my feedback just in case this is how the brush is actually supposed to be.
Beyond the physical discomfort of the prickle , It is much too dense to apply foundation. This is the one brush that manages to make my liquid foundation look cakey and emphasizes pores, even though my foundation does not do this by itself or with other brushes. I have tried this brush side-by-side with other brushes. I’ve also had some luck applying foundation with the CH-2 (a fox brush) . You have to work fast and in small sections, but the CH – 2 does give you a flawless finish.

Its so soft, even though it says foundation but I also love it for powering T zones, buffing on powder blush

Impeccably created workhorse brush. Designed to allow for streak free foundation application. Equally beloved for any cream and/or liquids - I.e. blush, bronzer and highlight. Incredibly soft bristles. Cleans up like a charm and holds its shape nicely.

So pleased with this brush. Super soft and products glide in like a dream.

Very happy with the brushes. They are beautiful and so soft. However was super disappointed with the delivery and packaging. These brushes cost quite bit. It's quite the investment.
For as much as I spent, they came in a flimsy card board shipping box wrapped loosely in bubble wrap. They weren't in nice packaging at all. Each brush was just in a clear plastic sleeve. They threw in a little towel.
For spending 500.00 you would think that they would at least come in a nice package.
I sent a note to the company saying the same and got no response.
