Close to the angled shape of the Chikuhodo FO-4, this brush is made with old weasel hair. Generally speaking, weasel hair is shorter and stiffer compared to kolinsky. However, this particular brush from Eihodo, manufactured by Chikuhodo, uses long-sized weasel hair collected during Master Tesshyu’s era. The texture feels so smooth that even with my eyes closed, I might mistake it for kolinsky. The brush is crafted with a high layering structure — it has thickness while maintaining mobility, making it especially suitable for blush, contour, and similar products.
