it’s based on the five-sided brush designed by President Yoshiki. However, we upgraded it with Kakishibusome High-Grade Saikoho, which is more oil-resistant and durable.

With my flat face, sunken temples, and long forehead, brightening the center of my face is essential.
I used a lighter foundation in the center, applying it with a pressing, patting, and pushing technique using the small five-sided brush. Then, I contoured the sides with a darker shade for a natural, sculpted effect. The brush performed well—when laid flat, its side bristles (not the tips) touch the skin, helping to fill pores, smooth texture, and polish the surface.
Next, I used it for cream contour and blush, and it worked great for precise application. However, using it for full-face foundation might feel a bit slow if you’re in a hurry.

This brush is great for applying liquid foundation! I had not planned to get this one but I am happy I have it. Though all sides of the brush are equally soft, I recommend using the side opposite to the logo and downward painting motions to apply foundation. My face is not quite large enough to use this as an under eye concealer brush. This brush is also good for targeted powder application.
This is by far one of the most versatile & innovative brush designs I own. The color of the brush head & design of the handle makes this a collectors’ item. The brush itself makes both cream & powder products a breeze to apply. No streaks or unwanted marks are left on my face. Truly a well made brush.

I love this small 5- sided brush. I use it for concealer and sometimes for cream contour. It does a great job of diffusing concealer without streaking. The bristles are soft and can be easily cleaned with daily brush shampoo. I missed out of the large 5- sided brush during the sale. Next time.
